Antique Folk Art and handmade art objects

Antique Wood Boxes are a very popular decorating item for the folk art primitive theme. They range from very rustic, hand made boxes with very distressed finish to elaborately carved wood items. Antique wood boxes can fetch a high price, but they can also be found for a song.  Also, "treasure chest" sorts of boxes can be used for living room storage and sometimes as coffee tables. 

If you can't find the wood box you are looking for here, be sure to go to Estate sales, and garage sales. Quite often, fine examples of antique wood boxes can be found in the estate sale garage, holding nails or other tools.
